The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the provisional selection list for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing Course-2024. This selection comes after the successful conduct of the 2nd/Mop-Up round of physical counseling, held on September 9, 2024, simultaneously at BOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar. Candidates who participated in the physical counseling are advised to check the provisional list and follow the necessary steps for admission.

The official notifications, Notification No. 097-BOPEE of 2024 dated September 6, 2024, and Notification No. 103-BOPEE of 2024 dated September 10, 2024, outline the details of the selection process. The list of selected candidates is available on the official BOPEE website and includes those who are provisionally allotted seats in various Government and Private Nursing Colleges/Institutions across the Union Territory of J&K.

How to Download the JKBOPEE MSc Nursing Selection List 2024

To access the provisional selection list, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official JKBOPEE website: www.jkbopee.gov.in.
  2. Look for the latest notification titled “MSc Nursing Selection List 2024” under the Notice Board section.
  3. Click on the link to download the PDF file of the selection list.
  4. Search for your name or roll number in the PDF to check your selection status.

The provisional list is annexed as Annexure-A to the official notification, detailing the merit-cum-preference allotments for the available seats.

Important Dates and Admission Process

Candidates who have been provisionally selected must complete the admission process at their respective colleges or institutions by September 17, 2024 (up to 3:00 PM). It is crucial for candidates to report within this timeframe, along with all necessary documents in original. The concerned Heads of the Institutions are responsible for verifying these documents and completing the admission process.

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates are required to carry the following documents in original for verification during the admission process:

  • Domicile Certificate (to prove residency in J&K)
  • B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing Marks Card
  • One Year Work Experience Certificate after completing B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
  • Registered Nurse/Midwifery Certificate (or equivalent) from any State Nursing Council
  • Valid Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Other Documents as per the specific requirements of the allotted college

Mop-Up Round Details

The 2nd/Mop-Up round was conducted based on Notification No. 097-BOPEE of 2024 and its addendum. During this round, seats were allotted as per the merit and preferences of the candidates. The allotments adhered to the provisions of S.O. 176 of 2024 dated March 15, 2024, and S.O. 305 of 2024 dated May 21, 2024. This round aimed to fill any remaining vacancies after the previous counseling sessions.
