The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the Provisional Selection List for admission to GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) and ANM (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery) Courses for the academic session 2024. This list follows the first round of physical counseling conducted from 12th to 20th August 2024, and it includes the names of candidates who have been provisionally selected for admission in various Government and Private Colleges/Institutions across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

How to Download the JKBOPEE GNM Selection List 2024?

To download the JKBOPEE GNM Selection List 2024, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the JKBOPEE Official Website: Open your web browser and go to www.jkbopee.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the Latest Notifications Section: Look for the notification titled “GNM/ANM Courses-2024 Provisional Selection List” or Notification No. 081-BOPEE of 2024.
  3. Download the PDF: Click on the link to download the selection list PDF.
  4. Check Your Name: Open the downloaded PDF and search for your name or roll number in the list.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates

Candidates who have been provisionally selected must follow the steps below to secure their admission:

  1. Reporting to Allotted Colleges/Institutions:
    • Candidates must report to their allotted colleges/institutions by or before 27th August 2024, up to 3:00 PM.
    • Carry all relevant original certificates for verification at the time of reporting.
  2. Documents Required:
    • Domicile Certificate: For candidates from UT of J&K or ST certificate for candidates from UT of Ladakh.
    • 12th Marks Card: As proof of academic qualification.
    • Category Certificate: If applicable, a valid category certificate is required.
    • Date of Birth Certificate: To verify age eligibility.
    • Additional Certificates: Any other certificate required by the college/institution as per rules.
  3. Admission Process:
    • The heads of the respective institutions will verify the eligibility of candidates and process their admissions.
    • Admission counters at colleges will remain open even on holidays to facilitate the timely completion of the process.

Candidates are advised to provide accurate information during the admission process. Any concealment of information will lead to the cancellation of their candidature and may result in penalties as per the board’s rules.

Seat Allotment and Admission Criteria

Seat allotment has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of S.O. 176 of 2024 dated 15th March 2024, read with S.O. 305 dated 21st May 2024. Additionally, candidates with disabilities selected in open merit or reserved categories will undergo an assessment by a special Medical Board. If they do not meet the required disability benchmarks, they will not be admitted, and the matter will be reported to JKBOPEE.

Fee Payment and Admission Record

For any queries related to fees, candidates are advised to directly contact their allotted college or institution. The heads of institutions are required to maintain an admission record and report any shortfall in candidates to JKBOPEE by 4:30 PM on 27th August 2024.
